Michael Raphael, CEO and president, Direct Dimensions, Inc.
What makes a good mentor: "The qualities that are most important in mentoring are instilling a sense of work ethic and personal responsibilities, handling external interactions with customers and managing projects and personnel by learning to delegate."
My advice: "We provide constant learning opportunities with new projects every day. We carefully monitor who can manage the projects to watch for the technical growth skills, but also maturity in terms of managing the situation."
