When NASA engineers needed to create a CAD model of an existing F-15, they turned to the team at Direct Dimensions. Direct Dimensions used the Faro LS to rapidly capture the exterior of the fighter jet to create an accurate “as-built” 3D CAD model. The team at NASA was able to utilize the model for use in CFD Analysis.
